Fyi, HKS hits 16psi at 3000, then any boost target soon after.
Usually all in by 3300rpm, 25psi peek on 91 and 28psi peek on E85.

Also, it's in another thread under Dyno Section, That HKS on 2.0 using GSC S2 cams on pump fuel (93 Equivalent) pulls cleanly to 7900 making power all the while!

Earlier in this thread a power drop was discussed, where the dyno showed HKS tapering by 6800: clearly that is a tuners choice in mapping rather than physical limitation of the HKS turbo.

my friend Chu had 2.3 and HKS turbo. made 400 whp on mustang dyno on 93 pump gas. the engine response was insane, felt like an NA car. the BBK 3B would be a lot more capable than that, but even at 400 whp range, i'd take the BBK 3B over HKS for track. you're not going to be below 4k rpm on track and BBK wont blow hot air like HKS will at 25 psi.

The BBK-B is quite a bit more capable airflow wise than the hks- therefor it is going to give up some response-
