e85 with FIC 950s

e85 with FIC 950s

Alrighty so i am in the process of making the switch to e85. It's finally widely available in my area and I've been wanting some more jam!! So I'm on the stock ecu tuned on speed density probably making somewhere around 420-450. 20psi on a gt30r. When i make the switch to e85 i will be tuned for 2 maps. 93 and e85. I will be looking to reach somewhere around 500whp with e85 and a little bit below with 93. Can my current FIC 950cc injectors with a Buschur Double Pumper be alright for my goals? If not what can the 950s do? I can always upgrade to 1000cc+ injectors but if i can get away with the 950s that'd be great. I searched and couldn't really come up with a definitive answer. Thanks in advance!

You're definitely going to want to go bigger than 950cc's if you want to run a GT30R on E85 and hit 500whp. You should be looking into something along the lines of 1450cc injectors for E85 use.

Yea you might be able to get away with that on the stock turbo...but definitely going to need more injector with anything bigger than stock turbo.

I was running 950cc, double pump on my e85 tune and a 7460r turbo.
Put down 480whp 490wtq

Also same injectors I ran fpblack with meth and put down 542whp

Just make sure your checking the duty cycle

If your going to want more power down the road go with the 1450 or 2150 high z if you want to do the one and done rather than buying bigger injectors down the road

The 950s are just going to put a cap on how much power you can safely make. I'm not sure what you're tuning with but 1200s aren't going to affect driveability much, yet still allow you to reach your goals and some.

FWIW, I made 470whp with 1050s and a double pumper on the Red.

I'm using FIC 950s with a single Bosch 044 on pump gas and IDC is around 95% at 27psi/500whp on my setup. I would recommend 1600-1850cc with that turbo and E85 to have plenty room to work with later on if needed.

Yea and thats another thing. Driveability. I do daily this thing pretty much everyday during the warmer months. I just wanted to see what everyone though and if there was anyone out there with the 950s on e85. I'm not really looking to make crazy power and probably won't anytime soon. Just looking to up the power to 500 give or take a little. I still think there is more power to be made with the setup i have on the car now. So i deff have some thinking to do.

That's what I was running.
950cc on e85 and meth. I was at 542whp and I think 490wtq
The meth made up for the small injectors.
