The question is what do you plan on doing with the car? is it just a daily driver, road race, drag? if you plan on drag racing make sure you know how to launch an awd. launching puts a lot of strain on the drivetrain so if that is what you plan on doing might as well get it built by shep or tre.

if you launch yes, if you don't launch yes lol. I would recommend a stage 2 from sheptrans.

I would probably get rid of those eagle rods and get a set of turbo tuff ones.

I would go to TRE but they are soo backed up right now its a waiting game. Its been 5 weeks and counting...

My advice would be to build it right before you break it. As stated you cant go wrong with shep or TRE. They are both reputable companies. With your power levels you want, a rebuild would be necessary.

Also, take the time to do research on the proper clutch to use. Call TRE and shep and see what they recommend for what you want to do as well. It wont hurt. Good luck with your build!

600hp will expose all the weaknesses of the stock drivetrain. Not sure if you have the option, but go with the push conversion for the clutch. I've upgraded my entire drivetrain for track duty. You don't need a new tranny and tc, but they need to be rebuilt/upgraded.

Adding lots of HP and then addressing the drivetrain is the wrong approach.

The question is do you want to rebuild now or after you kill your tranny. The torque generated by a 500hp car if launched will eventually go. If launched incorrectly could be the first time or a year. Not saying you can't destroy even a rebuilt drivetrain. Just prolongs its life.
