While my setup is not exactly like yours, I have really enjoyed my GSC S1 cams. Very responsive and no need to upgrade the valvetrain.

Good luck.

If you end up in upgrading your turbo later in the year, I recommend doing it once. GSC S2 cams & get upgraded valvetrain, awesome setup.

JUN 272s!! They were the best cams out of 3 brands that I installed on my Evo 8 with the same setup as yours. Oh how I loved them.

from stock cams to my kelfords i lost about 200rpms of spool according to my graph but i really cant feel the difference. But my mid range to redline was where i feel the most difference. im sure with the 9 turbo it will be even better.

I know there's hks haters everywhere but the venerable 272 cam shafts are a solid upgrade if you're trying to maintain excellent street manners. I did jump to s2's for about 25-30ish hp gain

S2' are the norm now days but definitely in the range of agressive. And on an 8, more yet.
