turbo setup question...

hey guys I just got an evo and turbo manifold is cracked in 4 different places...I got an ets t3 manifold with the deal...my question is what's a decent priced turbo I can get for this and what else do I need and where to get it? External wastegate, dump tube, etc...I have a 3" full exhaust but don't know the brand...the piece that comes off the turbo says Megan on it...will this fit with whatever I get or do I need a new one as well?

I'm guessing you have the stock turbo at the moment...

To answer your question, you're going to need to pay quite a lot... You basically need the whole hot parts kit with your new turbo, so you're looking at 4000+ dollars.

You're better off just welding your turbo manifold or just get a used OEM one that's ported or unported, whatever suites you best.

If you are planning on going big later on then just get the turbo kit. The O2 housing + downpipe you currently have will be replaced with the new turbo kit, so that's nothing to be worried about.

Or you can find everything you need in the Sales section of the forum. Many hot part kits on sale over there, all you'll need is the turbo.

Oh no... Well you only need an O2 housing, dump tube, wastegate, and a downpipe... So if someone can make you a downpipe I'm sure they can fab you up an O2 housing and a dumptube... Depends how good this fabricator is...

Three shops that will repair your transmission for you:

Sheptransmission, Jacks Transmission, and TRE Transmission.

Give any of them a call and they'll be happy to take in your transmission.

you would be better off buying a kit all together.

If you get a stock manifold you'll be able to bolt up your current setup. Your manifold doesn't affect the O2 housing and downpipe.
