I launch on my stock clutch first, if I were you I would get used to launching on your single disc exedy until it goes out, if you get a 2 step put on the car it is much easier to launch. Any good tuner can map the 2 step on the car. By the way, your post was hilarious just seeing the different words you use in your country. Hope you get the launch down!

 

Ok mate, thanks for the advice. I'm actually phoning up today to book my car in for remap so I'll talk to them about getting the 2 step done. I guess some people get it mapped out so they can launch at what ever rpms they want rather than what's preset as launch rpms??? And I'm not sure what you mean about the words i use, I speak to queens English my friend

 

Words such as wicked, mate, cheers, sharpish, gooden, bonett, cheap and cheerful.. He's just saying we don't hear those words or phrases very often here in the US and he clearly finds it funny to read those words in your posts. He meant no disrespect.

When you talk to your tuner, he will want to know what rpm/boost to set up your 2 step. I would research what others have set it at with success instead of just guessing.

Mate, I was clearly joking, I know what he meant. it was just a bit of banter, no offence meant I did give it a read up before and thought it was pretty simple but maybe I was wrong. I'll give them threads a read and try again later. Thanks

 

I will finish that clutch and upgraded for something to get better results and the car suffer less.
