Hi. I've just dropped my car off at a garage to have a HEL 25 row oil cooler fitted and the guys just phoned me and said it hangs too low. The guys at HEL said they've sold hundreds with no complaints but don't directly fit them themselves so can't give any fitting advice. I just wondered if anyone else has fitted one of another larger oil cooler and has any advice

 

I tried looking this up and it seems like they use Setrab oil coolers and make their own kit to mount it. There's only a handful of Evos that have the MAPerformance kit and haven't heard complaints from them about being too low. This is how it should be mounted on the car (different brand but size is the same). If anything, you might have to make your own brackets.
