There's a thread somewhere on here where someone used I think it was a mazda rx8 exhaust gasket and it sealed it up good. I couldn't find it but I will keep searching. My BR downpipe has a very small leak as well and I've tried just about everything, donut gasket/no donut gasket, 3 inch gasket, no gaskets, doubled up 3 inch gasket, 3 inch gasket with permatex, the permatex is whats on there now and like I said it's a very small leak. I'm done trying to fix it..
I think I have the same issue. I've tried doubling up on vibrant gaskets and now just tried the Mazda rx8 gasket. I'm still getting a leak. I'm thinking of going back to a donut style gasket. I have the jmf o2 housing.
Did any of you find a solution?

What permatex are you guys using? The copper rtv high temp silicone stuff is what you want, I used it by itself on my Buschur DP and it stopped leaking. Any gasket method combined with that ultra high temp stuff should work if applied correctly.
I was using the copper high temp that was rated to 700F. Not sure how hot that area is reaching though. When I last took it apart it appeared as if the copper rtv got a little runny on the flange.
If your o2 is leaking at idle it may be because you do not have a divided o2 housing gasket. MAP and Jmfab both make these gaskets.

You guys that are still leaking I bet your dp is not seating on your o2 housing all the way. I didn't need a gasket once I solved that.
All covered in the thread I linked.
You should remove both pieces to adjust the fitment. The machined face on the o2 must fit all the way to the down pipe

I had to 'massage' my BR down pipe to fit the BR o2 housing, don't use a gasket and still no leaks. after I 'massaged' my DP I actually comes over the collar on the o2 housing and makes a great seal! try that possibly?!
Don't call and ask us or send me a PM, that would be too easy................
I'm assuming with the 02 housing dump you have the company that built it doesn't have the extended lip on it like the stock one or the 02 housing that we sell has. That means you are going to need a good gasket in there, the extended lip on the stock housing/our 02 housing makes it so you don't need one.
