I wanted to start this thread, to see How many miles people have on their built motors. Also how Much power it's making and who built the motor?

 

^I've always been curious to see who had the most miles on a built motor... good idea for a thread.

I'm around 55k miles on my motor. Was built while the previous owner had it, don't remember the shop's name. I've replaced the headgasket twice in those 55k miles. (was replaced with a Cometic gasket the first time, which I suspect contributed to the need to replace it a second time). The pistons rings are a bit worn as the engine burns a bit of oil. Did a leakdown test a couple of months ago and had ~5% leakage, which was into the crankcase.

104,000 miles built 2.0 built by Devin Schultz @Boostin Performance many years ago. driven everyday 95 miles round trip, car has gone 10.97@126 power has been from 410-470hp mustang dyno. been thru two fp red turbos,a busted cam, one exedy twin and im on my second quarter master! and it still runs great. back on a stock 9 turbo til I decide on next set-up. ran a 11.96@113 last time I went a wile ago, change oil every 2500-3000 miles uses a little more then a quart between changes, depending how hard it driven.

 

I'm seriously considering havin Devin build me a 2.0.
Do you run a buschur oil pan, kiggly Hla, oil cooler, or race balance shaft?
