Amsoil in the 6 speed

I had always changed the 6 speed and drivetrain fluids with Diaqueen at 15K miles.

For my most recent change I went with amsoil all around instead of the Diaqueen. I was nervous with switching brands, but the shifting has felt great and everything seems fine after 15K street miles.

Do people still change amsoil fluids after 15K as well? I know amsoil is "supposed" to last longer, but wasn't sure if people really were extending service intervals on street only driving. ~400 wtq, not launched, driven mostly sideways in the snow.

Any experience appreciated. I tried searching, but most results are for the 5 speed which we know is a different animal.

Depends on use. If it is just mostly street miles I usually change it at 30k. but when I go on a road course I usually change mine around 15k just to be safe.

What amsoil fluids did you use for your trans, diff, tcase? I'm doing my 60k soon and just need to buy the fluids now. Sorry don't have any experience to give in regards to your question.

i'd still change it every 15k miles.

fwiw, i use 2 qts of the extreme pressure combined with the mtg. its a bit notchy the first few hundred miles but perfect after that.

awesome. Thanks. I just got some redline MT-90 for the tranny, and OEM for the diff and tcase. I heard mixed reviews about redline but Jacks Transmission wrote an article that it was their second recommendation if you couldn't get diaqueen.
