Tolerance on Plastigage for Main & Rod Bearings Clearance
Hi, what is the Tolerance on Plastigage for Main & Rod Bearings Clearance for a standard bearings & the Torque (ft-lb) for doing it?

torque it as if you were doing final assembly. Tolerance depends on what tolerance you're shooting for, whether it be OEM or tighter, or looser. However, plasti-gauge isn't exactly accurate..

Measure everything up and post your results. .0015-.002 is fine for the rod big end. The mains are ok a little looser, up to .0025.
