I think the 6262 will benefit from better 272's such as the s2's, m2's, or kelford 272's.

These two cams are very different. The fact that they have similar advertised duration (e.g. 272) does not make them comparable.

The HKS 272 is a mild cam with 214 deg of effective duration, lift that works with a factory head, and mild ramp rates. It's fine for a mildly modified street car, stock head, and factory valve springs.

The GSC S2 is a more performance oriented cam, with 232 deg of effective duration, more aggressive ramp rates, different lobe centerlines, and is designed to take advantage of a ported head and upgraded valve springs.

Adding a bit more info to what Ted said above, with the hks with 214 effective duration and 10.5/10.8 lift you will benefit very little from a stock head and relatively big turbo for them such is the 6262 hpwise, you will be down by 50-60whp in comparison to other more aggressive cams as you will not be able to use the extra pounds of air the blower is pushing. Headwise, the stock 4g63 head is capable of absorbing and pushing enough cfm for about 650hp as is, your main issue will be the very mild characteristics of the hks cams, but the good part of using such mild cams is that you will be able to make the 6262 reach intended boost threshold lower on the rpm point and in a shorter amount of time than on a set of more aggressive cams.

I would go for jun272 cam set, they loose nothing low down in comparison to hks272 but have the effective duration,ramp characteristics and lift to make the power. I consider them better than the s2 in all aspects and they suit the 6262 very well.

For stock block I say stay with HKS 272s. If it's built go Big. :}
