I think there was a test done recently where a CB ported IM made almost the same power up top but produced 40 more hp down low over an aftermarket IM.

My car had a DBB green on it and made 435 on 91 and 535 on E85. It had ported manifolds and TB and produced tons of low and mid range power.

IMO your best option would be a BBK turbo and ported manifolds and TB

you made that power on a stock block? and why do you suggest bbk im guessing FULL? over an fp red

Lol.....sorry, that was on a 2.3. I never had a 2.0 so I guess I overlooked that.

You could do a full or 3b but on pump only I don't think there will be a huge difference. If you are thinking of a red then a 3b would be closer to that.

Check the dyno tuning area and you will find some results.

The bbk full made 450 on 94 pump here when they had it. That was on a dynojet, I don't know how what reads on your local Mustang. The Red would be nice to try too

I think you are referring to a full?

The 3b is usually around 450 on a mustang dyno on stock block from what I remember.

Yea I'm thinking fp red..... I just hate that it's so expensive for the turbo. Any good comparison fp red vs a t3 turbo setup?

my friends car made 480 with BBK B BB on e85 on CBRD mustang dyno. I'm running FP red bb and will be switching to BBK B BB also (i'm running 93 pump). for street driving, the stock frame twin scroll spool very nice, especially with BB.

Why are you swapping out your red? Making over 550hp?

I would not bother with a t3 kit for your goals. You will only lose spool. A bbk-3b or fp red will make the power you want.

Thanks I think I'm weighing heavy on the fp red. Does anyone recommend a stock frame manifold like the fp one? Or tubular? Or just port mine?
