mods for E85 plz help
mods for E85 plz help
I am keen to convert my 7 to full time E85 and not sure where to start.
Mod list is as follows:
Denso 265lph fuel pump
stock turbo
3" HKS exhaust (dump pipe not done yet)
Apexi power fc
Greddy Profec B-spec II boost controller
IC piping not sure on brand.
Injectors to come; ID1000s
Not sure if it would be a good idea to fit a turbosmart FPR
and a HKS fuel rail kit in with this. And not too sure on what other mods would be recommended.....
Sorry in advance if this question has been asked before
Cheers

swap the denso for dual walboro 255's or a single 450
get the dump pipe as the standard one is very restrictive
get 1300cc injectors because you will want more power in future
get the fpr, no need for a fuel rail but if you got the money to spend why not do it now seeing as you have to remove it anyway to do injectors

If you're going 460lph walbro, you may need a relay, those things draw a lot of power. Had this experience with a blokes skyline, not too sure how it would be on the evo though? Yet to put my one in!
How much power you looking to make?? If you are tuning for e85, might as well do a turbo upgrade as well? Evo 9 turbo + e85 will see you well over 350whp.
Might as well get the most out of the tune aye?
Im doing mine all in one go, e85 tune, injectors, pump, evo 9 turbo, mild cams, and valve springs.

Seems like all he wants to do is run E85 with his current setup and maybe just increase boost a bit. What he has listed is fine.
As his setup power wise changes then he can make the relevant fuel upgrades to meet or exceed his goals.

Speed density setup
2150 fic
double pumper
Upgrade fuel rail
new pressure regulator oem
Do it right the first time, and never worry about again
It will support whatever your heart desires, case closed..

but your fine with what you have.
i had the oem rail, return & feed lines and oem FPR and made 708 hp 2 setups ago. and i still have the OEM FPR and return line ,but i just put on a rail and feed line, now make 850hp..
if you want more then that 500hp range you will THEN need dual walbros, and bigger injectors. but you can ride that horse when the time comes.
