My evo 8 rs has had a tick ever sense i got it. i tryed asking around with other evo owners and they all saying its normal. but it irritates the hell out of me. The car has 1250cc inectors and is on e85 and has 120K on original motor. it only does it when the car is warm and at idle. upon first start up i cant hear it. Any body have solutions? or trouble shooting ideas??

Lifter ticks and injectors tick

 

It's normal, most likely the tick is coming from the PCV Valve.
This bad boy dont tick when cold, but once it warms up you'll start to hear it.
