Engine rebuild

I have been researching on this forum about engine rebuild but most people built their motor for 500+ hps gained. However, I just want to build it for my daily drive not that aggressive but little upgrade than stock setup. Anyone recommends what products as far as pistons or other necessary parts should I be replacing or upgrading while the motor is out? Thank you.

wiseco pistons 9.0:1 compresion, eagle rods, ACL tri-metals. GSC S1 cams or similar, like kelford 264's or 268's. A mild valve spring upgrade, like GSC 5039's or 5040's. Head studs, main studs. All the proper machine work, and you'll have a stout block that will easily max out the stock turbo, or any turbo capable of 500lbft of torque.

You think should I go with the stock size on pistons?

You would need to have a machine shop measure the bore for roundness and taper to make an intelligent decision on whether to stay standard size, or go with an over sized piston and bore the cylinder accordingly.
