Compression test readings
Compression test readings
I did compression test on my evo today, need some inputs about its health. I bought it 4 months ago with high mileage 195K miles. I thought I did compression test first before thinking about rebuilding it. Here is the reading see what you guys think if I should rebuild or keep running it. Thank you.
Dry: Cylinder #1: 170, #2: 195, #3: 195, #4: 180
Wet: #1: 185, #2: 200. #3: 205, #4: 190
Dry: Cylinder #1: 170, #2: 195, #3: 195, #4: 180
Wet: #1: 185, #2: 200. #3: 205, #4: 190
Numbers look good. I wouldn't change anything unless your planning to run big power and then I would have it rebuilt but not because of the numbers but because it's got 195k miles.

Yup, I will run with it for now, however, my clutch just went out guess what it was still using the stock OEM clutch. This car was pretty much never been modified just like the previous owner said. Therefore, I will change out all the important seals and timing belt just a peace of mind. Thank you guys.
