Anyone use the FP Xona Rotor turbos yet?
Man I can't decide between the xona 82-67 or the 95-67, the only difference between the two is the compressor wheel as they share the same exhaust wheel and everything else. Fp states that they have a 500rpm spool difference but 100hp between the two. Is 100hp worth the 500rpm trade off? Decisions.... What do you guys think?
Fp also states that the Xona 8267 is about 500rpm laggier than the HTA86 and the 9567 is obviously a thousand rpm laggier.

I just don't know if I would even notice a 500rpm difference between the two turbos. I would definitely notice it between the Hta86 and the Xona 9567.
Edit : Okay, the Xona 9567 is the direct replacement for the old FP 3794. That turbo didn't spool till around 5k on on my old 2.3l stroker. I'm going to opt for the 8267 which replaced the FP 6466HTZ and stuff it into a Tial .82 a/r exhaust housing.

They revised all of their numbering systems when the switched to the bespoke center sections. The 82-67 is more like the 3794 than a 3586. The 3586 is the 78-64 in the new nomenclature.
Although I know the Xona will prove more reliable in the long run, I think I'm going to run a precision turbo. A friend brought some things to my attention about the size of the turbos and what housings are available for the best spool. For the first time ever since stock, I'm going twin scroll!

I do not want to question the quality of products(XONA). Contest seriousness of approach. I think it's unprofessional offering turbochargers without full data-sheets. Dialogue with their officials, is similar to the discussion of a stall in a vegetable market.
I agree^ knowing the Compressor wheel dimensions, turbine wheel size, and flow rate is a lot of info. It is nice to have a compressor map for comparison with other turbos, but the info they provide Is enough I think.
And having a compressor map also really requires knowing exactly what your engine flows at given rpm's to utilize the information on the compressor map...
Garrett offer without any problem, for each turbine, this information. All the information you need if you want to work scientifically, professionally. What pressure develops maximum flow? What is the schedule compressor, but turbine? What is the island of efficiency? ...

I do not know which is your occupation, but I'm not gather folklore.
I am an engineer and I see things correctly.
I understand you and I need to see a proper documentation in order to have a professional approach. I understand that there can be discussion below is a forum for enthusiasts.
I did not ever think that if a product require proper documentation, someone could think like you.
