No intake or diverter valve sound...

Need help diagnosing a problem: I have an open cone filter and used to clearly hear my intake/diverter valve and I can no longer hear it. Compressor wheel spins freely with no play, and I checked for leaks and pretty sure all I have is a very small one by the throttle body. What am I missing?

Well I just checked and the system is only holding 7 psi. But again only leak I found was at the TB and its not even that bad. I'm lost, something is obviously leaking bad but I can't find it

Evo 8 stock with ECU tuned at 0 percent duty cycle in the OEM boost control solenoid I had 12psi across the board, which I believe it's the lowest boost the WG can achieve. check your WG and turbo vaccum lines. I had no turbo pill as well.

Are you sure you didn't mess with vac lines?

Even with a boost leak, he should still hear the turbo sucking in air at WOT.

Still test for boost leaks, but also make sure the WGA and associated vac lines are in good shape..

I have a leak at the throttle body seals and a very small one at one of my injectors, but I doubt that would be enough to bring me down to 7 psi. I'm going to check to make sure all my vac lines are good later but I don't know what else it could be.

And yes I do hear the turbo sucking air faintly but don't hear the stock dv releasing any pressure
