Evo 8 oil return line leaking

Question Evo 8 oil return line leaking

Hey everyone I am kind of puzzled on my 03 evo 8 I have a 3586 turbo kit from ets, and my oil return line at the pan is leaking from the bolts, looks like have some seeping from the bolt holes I used factory bolts and the o rings plus thread sealer and its still leaking, what is some other options I can try or do,

That always seeps a bit on me too. Next time the pan is off, I'm probably going to weld an AN fitting to the pan, and go to an AN instead of the stock tube.

I don't have a stock tube its some aftermarket fitting but its seeping from the bolts like 1/2 quart every 2 days or so.. maybe less.

R u using the gasket? Also is it normal o-rings or the one in picture?

Well, the stock one leaks on me, and I'm sure its the same reason your's does. Its a poor design. If you're using a bolt on AN fitting. Take the pan off, and have a AN fitting welded on. That will solve all of your problems..

I figured out what it might be the guy RTV the pan instead of using the gasket which is probably causing the seeping from the bolt holes I will update when I try and fix this in a couple days!

Found out there was just RTV not a gasket so I am getting this fixed someone this week, Thnaks
