Cosworth Crank Scraper

Does Cosworth not make this part anymore? No shop seems to have this piece in stock... Anyone recommend any just scraper alternatives?

Abacus on here works there, his name is Tim. His car was built and tuned at their shop. They do more work on other platforms I think. They have a pretty big instagram account if that counts for anything....lol

You could also PM MAP. They carry certain Tomei things, so I'm sure they can get the crank scraper for you..

I bought my Tomei scrapper off Ebay. You can get them a few places.

reached out to a few vendors - a handful are still expecting one last shipment from cosworth, but even that is spotty due to production changes over there.

I think the Tomei is a more complete design. Plus I got mine covered in an oil shedding coating.

Die windage, die!!!

It replaces the stock windage tray that bolts to the girdle, as well as having the scrapers. It's a more complete design. I would def go with it over the cosworth as it is likely more effective.

ohh I see - not the "baffle" in the oil pan, this is something else? if so, sounds good to me.

The Tomei replaces the OEM windage tray and also incorporates a crank scrapper. Like Letsgetitdone said, it's a more complete design. There are definitely improvements to be had with the OEM windage tray.

THere's a mysterious 3rd piece on the Tomei kit, but I can't figure out what it's for.
