Precision turbo clocking
Precision turbo clocking
I am in the process of clocking my turbo to fit my new setup and had some questions since I have not done it before. Turbo is a gen2 6266.
I am able to rotate the exhaust housing side no problem, but to spin the compressor side I could not just loosen the bolts and rotate it.
It seems the o-ring inside is providing a tight seal. I also did not want to damage the o-ring in the process. I ended up removing the compressor side completely.
Is there any special way to install it back on or do you just be careful not to mess up the wheel and bolt it back on?
Are both sides are able to be rotated 360 degrees?
Obviously I have my drain facing straight down and feed facing straight up.
