I dont think the 4g64 is more reliable then a 4g63. Anyhow.

You can check out boostin performance. Buschur. Curt brown. Theres a few reputable builders. But if it were my money id hit up buschur if its still the og buschur. Cause hes ritired or retiring.
Nothing wrong with map, just a crap show

Ive had no issues with mine, but i haven't really pushed it hard (450 whp on pump for a summer). I also haven't had the chance to drive the car in a long time. Its a bit if a story on what happened as to why they had to assemble my motor (i had brought the car to them at the time only for a dyno tune). Anyway, all the machining and balancing was done at a trusted local shop before they had the motor. So basically MAP tore it down and put it back together again using the same parts. However, the motor has been good thus far.......but after looking PAL's build thread, im having second thoughts. Ah well, we'll see what happens. I don't have any oil consumption though.

Typing this from my phone so you'll have to excuse some of the errors.

I've seen too many of their motor's have issues, and then they don't stand behind it. Most of it is machine shop/assembly issues cause by poor machine work. So, you have had an outside machine shop do all yours, and MAP just bolted it together, you're probably fine.
