Exhaust Recommendations

Going to be piecing together an exhaust for my evo 8, car is stock. So I’m thinking about going with these parts. Any experience or recommendations would be great; since I’m new to the evo scene. Staying with the stock turbo for now;

02 Housing-Invidia-

Downpipe-Invidia-

Test pipe-Invidia-

Catback- HKS HiPower

Those parts would be fine. I have the same exhaust and happy with it. Go with whatever fits your budget. Sticking with the same brands will ensure minimal fitment issues also.

My best advice is to get all of your mods put on then tune once.. that being said you should be ok with those mods w/o a tune but to ensure the car runs the smoothest and make the mods worthwhile I would get a tune as soon as you can get one. A wideband and boost gauge would be high on my list if you plan on modding the car further. Good luck and have fun!

Thanks for the advice, I’m installing a wideband with the exhaust right away. Would Invidia be the best bang for my buck or is there something better for a little more money out there?

I have had all the Invidia products from O2 back with the exception of the test pipe at once, you can just get some off brand for that. It sounds nasty and I still have the cat back on it now. Defintely a different sound then the HKS which too many people have IMO. Go all invidia you wont regret it the quality is second to none. Oh it's not the cheapest out there you can get cheaper but the quality is legit.

Ok great, I had the hks back on my RSX. Loved it. So I’ll do invida all the way back to the hks.

I have an Invidia N1 turbo back and it fits fine and looks nice with the titanium tip.

like previously stated you dont have to use the same brand if you dont want to or want to save some money, my advice is to find parts that are a true 3in with no neck downs. it will save you headaches later on if you plan to make some power. im currently running

titek o2 housing
megan v2 downpipe
megan test pipe
buscher catback
