Run a staging brake with ABS

Ok saw this on the NASIOC Subaru site this guy is running a staging hand brake with ABS does anyone know if this can work for our cars,,
Basically instead of running 1 master cylinder you run a dual setup...

That's my plan to do to my Evo 5 to retain the ABS. Other priorities mean it keeps getting delayed.

I don't know about the diagram, I've just been told it will work. I was going to get a mate who works on brakes for a living to do it for me when I have the money and it moves up the priority list of projects.

I've had other priorities so haven't looked at it yet, and probably won't this year.
