Tuner right or wrong
Tuner right or wrong
So i have 03 evo stock head stock block
fp red turbo
kelford cams
450 walboro with dble pumper
1050x id inj3ctors i have 1700cc on hand to switch over
aem fuel rail
fuel labs fpr
went to get a tune on e85, was told that the car wouldnt be able to handle safely since injectors are to much.
then he tells me i can run e85 on the 1050x injectors.
instead of just questioning him i decided to stick with pump gas on the 1050x.
just want to know if the tuner was correct . Or should i have gone with someone else

Hey, Im E85 tuned & on the 71HTA turbo & im out of injector using the RC1000's.
Seems like a tuner more familiar w/EvO's & E85 is needed

OP, find a new tuner. It should not be an issue to tune 1700's for the right tuner.

On the bright side, I have a set of FIC 1450s that I recently got back from RC after cleaning/testing. I'd be willing to trade you straight across, as long as you don't mind shipping first so I have no down time. They are overkill for my application, so looking for 1050s, assuming yours are high-z.
