Ever driven either of the two clutches he is asking about?

I have had a comp twin and the exedy triple and I can tell you that hands down go Exedy. Comp Twin makes you convert the slave cylinder to a push style clutch. It's noisy (sounds like two seal fighting when you take off) and its not very street friendly at all. In matter of fact my exedy triple is easier to drive that my comp twin was and a hell of a lot quieter. I have driven several exedy twin disc clutch and they are amazing clutches. Probably one of the quietest twin disc on the market. Drive ability is great. In my opinion they are about as smooth as a single disc clutch with a tad bit heavier pressure plate if you get the HD cover which I would highly recommend. They are rated at to around 615 tq so unless you are going stupid crazy on you build should be plenty for most street cars.

I can’t comment on the competition clutch by I run a exedy hd twin and it’s a great clutch and perfectly fine for daily driving.

The primary purpose for the twin clutch is because the car is expected to be around 500HP.
