fuel setup help

Hey guys I was just looking for some help on a fuel system on maperformance.com that I want to pull the trigger on.
The kit includes: 1800 FIC LOW Z injectors, Walbro 400 high-pressure pump and an Aem FPR kit. I got the driven fabrications E-85 flex fuel kit and an fp green waiting to install. I just don't want to limit the turbo with my current fuel setup ID1000s and a 255. Will Maperformance package be ok? here a link to it.

https://www.maperformance.com/produc...nt=43833034627

Thank you guys!

Im not the expert on injectors but seems like the high Imped vs low is desired. Heres a white paper from FIC & one from one of our Gurus on the boards

The walbro 450 is fine, but you do not need an FPR, just a proper install with hi/Lo voltage rewire and drill the siphon.

Do no but low-z 1800cc injectors. Go with Hi-Z injectors, you'll want Injector dynamics 1300 or 1700, or Fuel Injector Clinic 1650's.

It seems like thats the route ill have to take. I love my IDs but the 1700 are so expensive. Will my tuner be alright with FICs? anyone know why the FIC 1650 hi-z are 10 dollars more than the 2150s hi-z on MAP. Its throwing me off. As for the FPR ill stay stock but for any of you running E85 will my fuel lines be ok? The car has 80k miles and this is likely the first time it'll be ran on E. Any last tips or parts that might help set me straight so I don't need to revisit my tuner for anything.

Thanks

The 1650/1700 is a different injector core than the 2000's, they're more expensive. FIC's are great, just make sure they're Fuel Injector CLINIC, no fuel injector connection or any other garbage.

Your stock fuel lines and FPR will be fine with E85; I have stock lines with a BR double pumper and stock regulator running E85. Good luck and definitely go with high impedance injectors, they’ll make for better driveability and idle.
