Who do you guys recommend getting a built short block from. There isn't really a good recommended builder in NorCal

When i lose my OEM bottom end, i will be seriously looking at English Racing. Although Curt Brown has caught my attention as well

^As someone with an ER bottom end and a CB head I'd say those are two solid choices. There are a lot of options when it comes to built motors and well any product or service for that matter. My recommendation to anyone is to do their due diligence and talk to the company shop person etc and make sure you feel comfortable with not only their capabilities but also how they will support you if an issue arises. Will they take your money and run or will they try and work with you to help make things right? You don't always get what you pay for but sometimes you really do.
