Oil leak on top of coil

This is a strange, and probably on the noob side. I've tried to identify this leak including new valve cover gasket and spark plug gaskets, but it's still here and soaking the first spark plug well. The others are bone dry. Any idea what this might be? It's enough to start dripping on the sides of the valve cover..

Yeah, it's a drain turn so water doesn't collect in the valve cover, god through to the other side. They sometimes start leaking oil.

There is only coming from it, it's dripping on to the intake manifold. But I don't think it's the cause, it's more draining the oil that's getting in the valve cover.

It’s probably that the Valve Cover is cracked down inside the spark plug hole/tube. Had the same thing happened and had to purchase a brand new factory Valve Cover, only used ones I found were Powder Coated and wasn’t taking the chance that they’ve been blasted leaving any material in the baffles or could be cracked themselves.

I bit the bullet and just bought a new one.

You're probably right, it has to be cracked. What a drag.. I'll look into options. Definitely not going for powder coated now that you've enlightened me!

Maybe the oil filler cap is leaking. A new gasket costs next to nothing.
