Unhappy 6-Speed transmission rebuild

Hey guys! I have rebuilt my 6 speed trans and now I am putting it back together again.
I have a problem with getting the output shaft rear bearing in position in the case. There is a snap ring to lock the shaft in position but when it's out the shaft slips down. I can't get it up enough for the snap ring to lock in position..
Does anyone have any experience in doing this? I can't find any info about the 6-speed...
Help is needed!!

Thanks!

as I answered in the other thread.. you shift it into gear with some force.. that will push the shafft up..

do you need the rebuild manual?

Yeah, dont remember anymore... even though I did one box a few months ago... just bang it into gear untill it lifts.. Keeping the circlip open at the same time helps..
One more thing.. if it doesnt seat right, it will block the whole box..

Okey thanks for the tip! Will try today. What do you mean ''doesnt seat right''? The case?

no, if you do not clip it in, the shaft will be too low and you will get some gears clashing on the bottom.. as a result the box will be blocked when you tighten the casing..
