Can AYC rear diff be rebuilt?

Can AYC rear diff be rebuilt?
I know the factory manual says it can't, but has someone done it?
A few weeks ago the rear wheels would have terrible judder, so I disconnected the ACD/AYC relay and the juddering stopped. I changed the AYC clutch bath fluid and I could see bits of what looked like ceramic pieces, I assume those are the AYC clutches.
So the question is, can I replace just the clutches? Is there a source to buy them from?
