Update

I made a a custom plexiglass cover for oil cooler and there is slight improvement in engine worm up. But still temperature wont surpass 80*, even if I drive it really hard. Today when I was driving thru city it went to 80* but when I entered highway it immediately drop to 40*. I will now move this sensor to filter housing and check if there is any difference. Maybe before I'll put it in some boiling water to see if its reading temperature correctly. What do you think?

Thanks for all the replies!

I think you will see a huge change moving it to the oil filter housing. At this point I don't think a boil test is necessary but if it's something easy for you to do then go for it. Curious to see your results.

Thanks guys for your support, I think this cover is great solution for winter temperatures.

Oil temperature sensor doesn't belong in the OFH. It belongs in the pan.

Wrong, temp in the pan is pointless circulation temp affects the viscosity and the breakdown of the oil does not come from time in the pan. Do you think the oil pan heats the oil? They make finned oil pans with the intent of cooling the oil. Even the steel pan is a place for the oil to cool and settle.
