need help with AYC lights

hey,

i got a JDM evo 7 with a link g4+ ecu, last week all 3 lights came and didnt go away, disconnected the battery for 30 mins but after just moving the car out of driveway the lights come back on... ABS lights acts normal come and goes away.
the only thing i recenty changed was from my stock steering wheel to a carbon fiber one... could dat had caused a issue?
i check the pump with the trottle method, it tunes on for 6 secs and shuts off normally but the ayc lights come back on after i move the car a few feet.
since i cant read codes from my OBD2 port as my link ecu disconnects the obd any ideas what i can do to diagnose the ayc issue?
if the pump is working, tuning and shutting down it cant be the pump failing?? so i bleed the system with new oil just im case and the pressure was fine.

any idea what i can check? if it was as dead pump or soloid there wouldnt be pressure in the system?

thanks

is it just running at constant speed or do you hear it slowing down as it builds pressure?

if it runs at constant speed than it can be a faulty pump. Another thing, since it runs for such a short time, is faulty pressure sensor. Have seen both happen

i have felt my frinds evo 8 and mine as well the pump runs and feels like its running normal i dont know what constant speed means... but it stop afters 6 secs and when i bleed it was normal pressure.

funny thing is the 3 lights comes on mostly in this. morning when car has been sitting over night, after i let it warmup the lights come and when i turn off and on then. car again the lights stay normal one light... im so confused.

That would be your ACD lights,

I would get the pump rebuilt, these vehichles are getting to the age where electronics and moving parts are becoming faulty.

Lots of videos and information that'll help you find a proper diagnoses

the code im getting is the steering sensor... code 31 ( st open) of acd which can cause the 3 lights to light up... if it was the pump i would be getting abs light too and no pressure. but yes its time to rebuilt the pump as its getting older
