Transmission/T-case question.

I’ve been reading allot of conflicting information on here and other forums but does the Transmission and the T-case allow fluid to pass through one another??? long story short I have a fresh TRE 5 speed installed in the car with 100 miles on it and noticed my T-Case is whining and chattering slightly and the TRE install/break-in sheet said the transmission feeds the Front LSD oiling circuit.

Please and Thank you for the Reply’s!

I think transmission oil passes thru all the way to the driveshaft spline area oil passages. LSD oil and ACD oil are in different compartments

Yea, so they pass through one another but don't mix.

There is no "debate".

Transmission fluid flows into the front differential inside the tcase, via that port which is sealed by the small oring. This fluid is separate and sealed off from the gear oil for the transfercase ring and pinion. So the tcase whining is not due to installing a fresh trans.

I didn't think it was, just want the new trans safe. Thank you for the knowledge brother!!! the old trans that blew up would bind up allot and try to stop the car when moving it, I imagine it caused premature wear from the shock of that. Time to send the tcase to TRE.
