exeedy twin disk

hey i got this clutch...and i was wondering when you guys w/ this this same clutch let off the gas but still have the car in gear do you hear noises like grinding...b/c i do but if i take i out of gear i don't or if i push down the clutch i don't...sorry if spelling is bad...i'm really tired.

It sounds like you are hearing the famous deceleration noise, which is normal on our cars.

Mine got louder after I installed a twin-plate clutch also.

bleh i hate that noise it sounds like ****...all evos make that noise?

Mine makes it and Got louder with the twin disk. The noise doesn't really bother me though.

i installed mine, and you can hear a rattle a bit when you are idle, but other than that the clutch grabs great and engages pretty quickly...i can deal with it, if the other guy at the line doesn't mine reading my license plate...good luck, sounds normal

It's common for multi-plate dry clutches to rattle a little. I think they all do it. Listen to a Ducati sometime.

do any of you think a twin disk Exedy is overkill for a Evo making around 300 whp?

I have the chance to buy one from a buddy for a really good price, but I just want to make sure it'll be fine.
