I did the Shockproof in the t-case and mtl/mt90 in the tranny and 2000 miles later, the t-case had to be replaced. Might not be related, but I thought it should be posted.

I've used that combo in DSMs and never had a problem.

What was the breaking point in the transfer case? Sheared teeth or something in the bearing package?
