Td05hra-16g6-9.8t

Hey guys!
I am curious about this turbo, because I want to hook one up to my 2. Someone was telling me that someone had imported some of these turbo's and I was curious if anyone knows how to contact them.

Thanks alot!
(sorry if this is the wrong forum)

No idea.

Lots of American vendors sell ported and clipped versions of the 16G and Big 16G. I do not know want an hra is, but talk to Extreme or
Hahn they may be able to help.

Thanks! This is my dream turbo......Thats why im looking for this exact one

- TD05 = turbine wheel model = 1.93"/2.20" 11 blade turbine wheel
- HRA = turbine design and material code = titanium aluminide = lightweight/fast spooling
- 16G6 = compressor wheel model = 1.892"/2.68" (aka Big 16G)
- 9.8T = twin scroll turbine housing with 9.8 square centimeters of nozzle area

Gotcha

Oh, okay - now I understand. Something that exotic would only come straight off an Evolution, what, is that like the option on the RS, Iconnel material, or whatever? I do not know where to get one, but those vendors probably don't sell it.

If you can't find an importer, maybe you can by it direct from Mitsubishi Heavy. Probably a bit pricey I'd imagine.

Hi to everybody.... I'm new in this Forum, this is my first reply...
The turbo you're talking about should be a Evo VII titanium standard unit, and the R ( in HRA ) tells us that's a reverse spin unit, and for making it work properly you will need a specific manifold, like the Evo from 4 to 7 versions have.....
Hope it helps....

Another last thing....
If you want, you can also find these units with a twin scroll turbine housing 10.5T, the TD05HRA-16G6-10.5T, and they are the Evo VI RS titanium standard turbos....Always revers spin...

Yes, in theory you should do so, but i don't know if somebody has just built it....
The fun fact is that Evo owners (like i am ) have the opposite problem to you, when tuning their engines have to change the exhaust manifold for making any turbo upgrade, as there is no practical way to find upgraded reverse spin turbos.....
I' don't know how much you will pay a HRA unit, but if you have to purchase it brand new it's very expensive, and i think that you could consider a Garrett GT series, it should be a good choice and you will have less problems finding a manifold.....
