evo 8 Clutch Out $1400 need your opinion...
Full STage 1...Well two days ago i noticed that my clutch went out after 9,500miles. I noticed it by simply pressing only on the gas pedal and the rpms would go up. I went to my local shop here which i prefer! Well im getting a competition clutch $200, fatanza flywheel $425 which is 5 pounds lighter then stock, and after market clutch line $60. I was told that this set up will support 400whp...Including $600 labor, parts, fluids, the use of shop tools and tax my bill came out $1,400.00.
What do you guys think, is that a lot and how good is this set up?????????

I would be very happy with what you have for what you paid.
FWIW: Adding to Guru's comment. Although stronger for the weight than steel, aluminum work hardens and is less forgiving (it will gall) than steel. These qualities leave aluminum ok for race applications where nothing is expected to last very long anyway. Any 41XX alloy is good stuff.
