Get some cheap insurance with AAA. They have a special package that includes up to 200 miles for towing at no charge. Might be good in case you get stuck. It's called the AAA Premier Upgrade.

"You're are entitled to up to four Roadside Assistance calls during your membership year at no charge. As a AAA Premier member, you can be towed anywhere you choose, up to 200 driving miles free from where you break down. Once during your membership year and up to to 100 miles for your remaining 3 calls. Some condidtions apply. Additional calls are subject to a service charge."

Might want to get separate cards for you and your wife and you'll be all set. It costs $26 more than a regular membership. (877) 428-2277.

Az3ar, you will be alright driving your car up to Northern Cali. I had an aftermarket turbo installed on my WRX and never got it tuned. It did have more power, but it ran like shiznit. It ran really rich and the boost spiked all the time, so just take it easy and enjoy the drive.
