i just installed the ssqv BOV and i need some help with adjustments... im not recirc'ing and im getting the common engine almost stalling problem when im idling and rev the engine past 4000 rpm's. what did anyone do to fix this problem, how far did you back the adjustment screw, and did it fix it...please help asap, kind of hesitant to take the car out until it running right. and i did disconnect the battery for about 20 min after install...thanks for the help

 

if it isn't recirculating, no amount of adjustment is going to help the stalling problem. you are releaseing metered air into the atmosphere, therefore you run rich for a moment and almost stall. you have to either recirculate, or get some type of engine management to fix this problen. Please do a search. There is PLENTY of information on this subject
