HKS SSQV Recirc Throwing LIMP MODE HELP!
So I had HB Speed throw in the HKS SSQV set to Recirc along with an ETS Intake, ETS FMIC, Forge WGA, full T1R TBE, and Cobb AP w/Protune, but the SSQV is throwing the car in Limp Mode as well as the Check Engine Light. Im going back tomorrow and they want to throw the stocker back in to see what happens. I know there are members on here running this with NO issues.......Any suggestions, Please HELP???? **CEL is P1235**

Hi,
I have excatly the same problem but only on part throttle. Just as MAD_VIII said it's because you are boosting too much compare to what the ECU is expected to see on a certain load.
It happens to me the day i've installed my HKS EVC 6 EBC. I cannot fix the problem right now because it's all about tuning the car properly. I think you might ask HB Speed to have a look at your boost/load map.
For now what i do is to run the car at 10% throttle or WOT or i turn off the EBC when my wife drives the car

For your information, after extensive troubleshooting on my car due to partial throttle overboosting, myself and Mike at Road Race Engineering narrowed the problem down to the blow off valve. Once we put the stocker back in all was well.
The reason being is these aftermarket bov's are more aggressive, allowing for a slightly quicker spool up earlier in the rpm range, but these cars don't like that and you will throw the limp mode over and over again.
My suggestion is this, take out the bov, put the stocker back in, don't do anything else and see what happens.
