So my car is 100% stock, and has 7100 miles on it. I don't race or anything like that. Occasionally I will run it up through the gears on a on-ramp, but that is about it, and that is not a everyday thing.

So tonight I was at highway speed, I drop down to 3rd, floor it, and as my car acclerates, it quickly runs out of steam at 6k rpms. It is like it ran out of breath. It was very noticeable.

Acclerating through 1st and 2nd is fine, it is just 3rd gear and higher that I loose alot of power at 6k rpms.

It could be that your stock BOV couldnt hold the boost.....and bone stock wouldnt help it either...

 

check for loose connections... maybe.

 

It could be pulling timing...bad gas

 

Disconnect your battery for a few minutes to reset memory and drive it again. Let us know!

Could it be just the stock rich A/F up top? You may want to consider a reflash and a turboback exhaust along with a boost controller and intake. Unleash the monster. You are getting used to the stock power.
