Post Aftermarket oil pans

I need to find a site for after market oil pans. One that has a larger capacity and built with better materials. Any help will be appreciated Believe or not I can't find anyone offering it here in Japan !!! Thanx

PS I own EVOIV GSR.

I have to ask, why??? I can’t imagine a reason for wanting more oil.

The oil pan on the E4, like the E5 lacks some of the baffling added to the E6. This was to prevent oil starvation under hard acceleration. Perhaps swapping the pan from an E6 would help?

Better materials? Im guessing maybe for off road use as not to damage it on a rock maybe. If so get a skid plate.

He may want a larger oil capacity because that will reduce oil temperature without having to add an oil cooler.

A larger sump also helps to also lengthen the life of the oil since your total oil capacity is going through the engine less over a given amount of operating time.

Those reasons just didn’t spring to mind. As I age I am afraid that my thinking is becoming rather set. I tend to see only the obvious.

The Evos all carry pretty generous oil coolers. There are upgrade options for the stock oil cooler that should get the job done. Shorten the oil change interval if you are concerned that you are endangering the engine. With a turbo charged car I would use full synthetic oil, which typically will give good service.

Looking for a custom oil pan just sounds like an unnecessary hassle.
