You are lucky. Because ATP is the only turbo that bolt on our stocky manifold and should bolt on this mani as well. read my ATP kit thread. I want to buy one of these soon for better spool

Thanks for a quick replies.

No, I don't want to sell it for now, sorry. I will try to get a turbo that fits that manifold and if I don't find one capable of 480-500hp I'll let you know.

BTW, That ATP 3071 turbo looks very interesting. Does ir fit the manifold? Will I be able to achieve ~500hp with everything else done like headwork , forged internals, fuel system, autronics etc.. ? And is it possilbe to buy only turbo alone from ATP because I allready have everything else and I only need some turbo ?

Thanks alot for the info

Yes it will fit this manifold. However you will get different replies from different people here. My kit is now making on race gas 380 whp on dyno jet. Do you think I will be able to make 500 whp on race gas with all supporting modes and internals as you said? I think so. However, you can get the bigger turbo the GT35R. I got the smallest turbo they had, your choice, your money. Good luck

Ceramic -coat those JICs

Hey buddy,
I would ceramic-coat those JICs before installing them. Mine lasted about 8000 miles (maybe less). The heat under the hood will annoy you for sure. I don't know if that factor contributed to mine cracking. So anyway, enjoy em while they last. They definitely helped with "spool-up" (I believe the sound of my exhaust system changed too - sounded more solid, "tenor" like, instead of that "bassy" ...well anyway.....)

Damn.. that's f*#@ up. Is there any other way to protect it from the heat?

Thanks for the info guys.

The US manifold doesn't have the Anti-lag fittings in the crossovers.. Mine is the same way.. Not only can you use the ATP turbo, but if you have a 6.5 TME you already have a good turbo that you likely could have work done to.. (PM me if you'd like to sell some of your parts)

I also have the JIC intake manifold, Evo VII RS2 Turbo (Ti turbo with 9.8 nozzle) and a DNP O2 housing. There are already people making 400+ whp on setups with less than this.. so don't rule your current turbo out yet.. Plus I like the drivability of the smaller turbo with the lower spool with the low mass Ti and stainless manifold O2 housing.

You could have your current turbo modified for extra flow (some housing mods and impeller mods, porting and BB conversion) But that can be a little expensive.

Also, I really like the ATP kit, and am seriously considering trying it after I've done my R&D on the "Stock twin scroll" turbo setup..
