Having problem with injector clips

Does anyone have a suggestion for the best tools to use to remove the wire clips on the injectors? I got one off, but it took forever, and now I'm also having trouble unhooking the harness even with the wire clip out. Not sure how to get it unhooked from the harness or whether I need to pry from the bottom with a little screwdriver or something.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I'm having this same problem atm. There are no real good injector install howto's on this site.

I need info on getting the electrical clips off the injector.

The clips are under a small lip to hold them in. You need to essentially pull the clip out a bit and then pull up. Just take a small flathead screwdriver and slip it between the lip and twist up. Careful, they'll go flying!

It's not that tough to do, a flat head screw driver will work perfect!

it has a little metal band that needs to come out, I figured that part out and it made it much easier.

they break easily too so "be very careful". Finesse and take your time.

I lost one and I fabbed a new one out of one of those keytag holders that the dealership puts on your keys to keep track of them. Worked just as well.

You can also make them out of paper clips. I think CBRD uses a thin wire and then twists the ends tight to keep them from coming off. If they need to remove it, they just cut it.
