I've never seen anything over 91 here in CO. I've heard rumors of a few places selling 92, maybe. Do you have to go in an ask for higher octane? Or is there just a button like everything else that actually says 100 on it?

The 76 stations here in town, not all, have a center pump with diesel and race fuel (100). They must sell a lot of it because several times I saw plastic bags over the nozzle meaning they were out.

or they sell almost none, so they don't really stock it.

I asked about it one time and they do sell a lot of it but the tank is small and the deliveries are infrequent and it sells out quick.

As I recall, there are 10 points to every 1 octane. So if it raises the octane by 2 points, you are actually running on 91.2 octane if you started with 91.

I would just put 2 gallons of 100 octane in with every 10 gallons of 91. You'll end up with close to 93 octane.

Emperor, have you ever considered water/alcohol injection? I know it has been discussed on these forums before. I also live in the land of **** gas and did a Aquamist water/alcohol injection set up on my Turbo Talon AWD and it worked pretty well. There are alot of sites on the internet on how to make your own water injection set ups cheaper than buying a kit like I did. You do need to take some time to tune it right. I used a pocket logger to keep tabs on my knock and timing. I'm going to pull the whole set up off my Talon before I sell it and install it on my Evo sometime in the near future. I'll post pictures and my results when I get everything installed and tuned.
