1st gear grind at 1800 rpm's
Hey guys I was driving my car yesterday I was stopped at a red light. The light turns green I push the clutch in give it a little gas and when i am about 1800 rpm's and i am releasing the clutch i can feel a grind in the front right. Has anyone else experienced this or know what it is. If i start in 1st at a higher rpm i dont hear or feel the grinding in 1 gear. Any ideas?
Thanks in Advance,
Chris

I get it a lot, I think its normal on Evo's, people have felt it going into 2nd (the huge clunk) and sometimes into 1st. I wouldn't worry too much about it, but if u want, u can get it checked out.
ya i was also havin this grinding problem too. i took my evo back to mitsu to get the tranny looked at. they said i had some bad synchro rings and that i was covered under warranty. i'm still waiting on my car cause the rings are on back order until july 15. when they get in the service guy told me everything should be handled and repaired in 2 days.
so i would just take my car into mitsu (since everyone should be under warranty still if you are having the problem) and get it checked out before somethin major were to happen
