I know I may sound like a dick, but it's people like you that go around whining about sh*t that's your own fault. Then you'll get rid of the EVO and tell everyone that " the EVO sucks, it's slow, you spent thousand of dollars and still ran 20 sec 1/4 mile times, blah, blah, blah."

if you coudl read youd see i wasnt blaming anyone but myself..i love the evo....i take full responsibility for problems that ive been through....try and relax bud we will get through this toegether....

Evo8power,
You've got a great setup. Some good tuning and your car will run fine. Don't give up yet, proper tuning can take a little while to get right.

God luck Kev. Your car wil be FFFFFFFFIIIIIIIIIINEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! Serious, all I read is after an Aftermarket turbo, a standalone is what you need. But maybe you can try 1 more reflash and wheel and deal with Al. He is a good guy and myself and you s brothers have been very good customers. He'll do you wll next week I think. Good luck pal, youll be hitting your 11's soon enough!!!

but if you get flashed for 94 oct you gotta buy a s-afc (around $300) if you plan on running c16 that's what all people do when they go to the track, if you have a wideband it's very easy to tune s-afc

Hey, again I feel sorry for you. However, Stop listining to the wrong answers about your car. 1- Your intercooler and IC up pipe almost has nothing to do with your lag, I mean god dam how much could they efect 100 rpm max. Your lag is bad and huge. if I were you I would do this see what BR will say if you trade them with the 400br kit?? if not sale it and return your car to stock. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO MAKE THIS TURBO SPOOL MUCH BETTER. some people might say you will and you might but you will need alot of new parts that will cost you sh it load of money. either go back to stock or replace the kit.

When I considered trading in my Evo for a 2004 Audi S4, I read a ton about the costs associated with some of this high-end German speed... $10,000+ for an M3 engine, $10,000 for an Audi Tiptronic quattro transmission, etc. etc. Even if I was ready to spend the big $$ on a Porsche, I'm not sure I'd want to unless it was a lower-tech, better-built one like a GT3. The costs of owning and maintaining a bone-stock M3 might be greater than owning and fixing upgrades on an Evo (long-term). Just a thought...

I know how you feel. I am very happy with my ride now. I will need a reflash after I get cams and injectors. I just buy what I can and hold on to it until I have everything I want. It sucks having 30+ whp in mods just sitting around the house.

a bone-stock M3 does indeed require fairly significant maintenance after the factory warranty is up. I've had higher maintenance girlfriends than my M3, but those *****es ended up costing me a lot less money.
