Transfer Case!

Well my TC has **** the bed now. What does Al, TT, Boost Solutions and all them use for TC's? The stock one or is there finally an aftermarket for one?

You had mods and they still warrantied it? What dealer did u go to? Cuz I think my transfer case is gone now, and my dealer doesn't want to warranty it cuz of my minor mods.

Gio - There is no rebuild. No one sells the replacement parts for it. Its either warrenty or you pay for it. I tried the whole Team Rip thing and was without my car for a month and it still didn't get fixed. Sorry to tell you the bad news.

Damn - transfer case problem is a DEFECT - there has been stock cars that have had this problem. Mitsu is so broke - that they don't wanna pay for ur TC even if you have a f ucking airfreshner as a modifif uckingcation.

Something has to f*cking happen to change this bull shi t

In many cases, it's driver technique that breaks t-cases. You can see a lot of stock guys like the ones you mentioned surviving on the stock t-case.

The front diff inside the t-case blows up if you launch hard w/ wheel hop. You need to learn to let off the gas when your front wheels bounce up and down like a low rider.

I've only launched the car about 3 times and trust me I know how to launch a car. Its just that Mitsu builds bs transmissions and transfer cases.

Mitsubishi doesn't build the transfer case (or the tranny I think) but sources those parts out to Getrag.

Launching an EVO (or any AWD car) is not the same as a 2WD launch. The rules are not the same.

just my $0.02

I'm worried about replacing my stock clutch now. Either the clutch goes or the t-case goes.
YellowFever - finally got your account back I see.

This is true but i have launched my car many times and have put allot more HP to the tranny and tc then most and i have had no problems with either. I did have a syncro go out in my tranny like the first week i bought it but it was a defect depending on your manufacture date. The problem is solved . yAnyway i just have a feeling that the tranny wont hold the 700whp im planning on by the end of the week along with the TC. So im sending the tranny to Sheppard and the TC im going to look into either the TT or RMR or Quiafe. So i figure might as well sell it while it is still good.
